Mr. and Mrs Tommy Windsor and daughter were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dunaway in Roebuck Mf. and Mrs. Ernest Prince and daughter, Brenda Jones, of Mari etta, Ga., spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. Sam Prince. Mr. and Mrs. J B. O’Shields, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ballard were visi tors of J. B. Wasson in Fountain Inn during the week-end. Mr. Was son is ill at his home. Miss Retha Scarborough of Jo anna, was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Henry King Mrs. W. T. Wigley and children left last Thursday for a visit wtih her father, E. L. Winchester, and other relatives in Bryson City, N. C. They will attend the high school commencement program where a nephew is graduating, and a birth-[ day dinner for Mr. Winchester while there. Mrs. Fred Burnett and Freddie of Arcadia, spent the week-end with her parents,' Mr. and Rrs David E Roberts On Sunday they and David Roberta vmted the la! ter Mrs Roberta' aunt. Mrs Emma Mom, who ia seriously ill in the An derson Memorial hospital. Davie, who is recuperating from a tonsil- eclomy, returned to Arcadia with his sister for a visit. Mrs. J. H. Wallen line of Chap pells, spent the week-end with her daughter, Mrs Lilly Belle Miller Mrs. Walter Floyd of Spartan burg, was the week-end guest of Rev. and Mrs. Milford Sanders Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Lanford and Johnny were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs. Frank Petty in Union. Freddy Hanna, who is spending a few weeks in Woodruff with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Johnson, spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. Fred Hanna. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kelly and children and Miss Connie Burke of Gaffney, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ike Jones. Blue Bird Group Enjoys Parties The Singing Blue Birds, with Mrs. Harry Templeton as leader, gathered at the Community House on May 24 for a pajama party.
