gonsand lavender iris. Soft glowing

Azaleas and Dutch iris adorned the
other meeting rooms.
Spiced tea was poured from the
silver service and ham biscuits,
ribbon sandwiches, nut bread,
cakes, and mints were served from
tea trays.
Theme of the program was tea''
tables. Mrs. Henderson Pitts de
scribed linen, china and silver used
and Mrs. Judson Brehmer talked
on the type of food and flower ar
rangements used
Each member wore an original
hat made of flowers from her gar
den.

Suddenly On Sunday
M J. BradwHl M. died suddenly
Sunday afternoon from a heart at
tack at hi* home near Clinton.
Mr Bradwell was a native of
Clarendon County, but had made
his home in Columbia for a number
of years before moving to Clinton
six years ago He was a son of the
late Daniel and Gabriel Stritman
Bradwell and a member of the

Mr Bradwell was twice married
Hi* first marriage was to Mrs Bell
Owens Bradwell Surviving from

Bradwell and Albert Bradwell both
of Columbia. Joe Bradwell. of the
U. S Navy stationed in California.
