Dr. Robert S. Cooper Accepts Pastorate Of Laurens Oiurch Guild Auditions March 14th And 15th Laurens, Feb. 28—Dr. RoberC S. Cooper, of Washington, D. C., has accepted a call to become pastor of the Laurens First Baptist Church, effective April 1. v The church has been without a pastor since the Rev. J. E. Rouse resigned Oct. 15 to become presi dent of Anderson College. Dr. Cooper is a native df Sumter, a graduate of Furman University. He received his doctor of theology degree from Southern Baptist Theo- logists Seminary, Louisville, Ky., in 1949. Experienced adjudicators are sent to judge all ages and grades of ad vancement.
