SMITH Miss Young Honored By Miss Nettles A lingerie shower was given on Tuesday evening for Miss Mauda- lene Young 'by Miss Rose Moore Nettles at the home of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nettles. Miss Young, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leland Young, will be married August 17 to Archie Chevis Reed, of Winnsboro. The honoree and Miss Joan John son, also an August bride-elect, were presented corsages. Gladioli and roses in shades of pink effectively decorated the home. Two heart shaiped cakes bearing the names of the couple and their wedding date were used with candles, mums, gladioli and fern arranged on a reflector, to appoint the buffet refreshment ta ble in the chosen pink and white color theme. The hostess was assisted in serv ing and entertaining by her moth er. Miss Pitts Honors !
