Thursday evening at Providence
Miss Pennington Honored
On Saturday evening a lovely
birthday mirty was held at the
Community house in celebration
of Miss Peggy Pennington’s birth
day, with her mother. Mrs. Wade
Pennington, as hostess. Mrs. Har
ry Templeton assisted her in the
courtesies of entertaining.
Around thirty-five guests were
present. They enjoyed an eve
ning of games and dancing.
Refreshments were served from
the buffet table which held the
lovely decorated cake of white,
pink and yellow'. ■ Punch was
served with other party dainties.
Miss Pennington was the recip
ient of many lovely gifts.
