E. E. Blakely has returned to
Washington, D. C, after spending
a few days with relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hiller, of
Saudi Arabia, who have been on
an extensive tour of Asiatic coun
tries, the western states and Mex
ico^ arrived here this week to
spend the holiday season with
her mother, Mrs. R. M. League,
and other relatives.* Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. M. Cassanova spent the
weekend with relatives in Colum
bia. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs.

daughter, of McCormick, spent

Miss Kate Milam, Mrs.'. B. B.
Ballard, and son, Billy, left yes
terday for New Jersey. They
were overnight guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Mac Ballard in Charlotte,
and will fly from there today to
Ridgewood, N. J., to spend a week
with their brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Milam.
Mrs. Wiley Monk, of Moultrie,
Ga., is spending some time with
her daughter, Mrs. Tom Plaxico,
and Mr. Plaxico.
Colonel and Mrs. F D. Stnb-
ling were guests of Miss Lily
Yarborough Thursday. They were
enroute to their home in Santa
Monica, Calif., following a trip
