Lt. Col. and Mrs. L. S. Hender

Wright Air Force Base and Day-
ton, Ohio, arrived earlier in the
week to spend several weeks
here at the King eottage or^Lake
Greenwood. They will go in
September to Spain where Col.
Henderson \irill serve with the
U. S. Air Force.

moved into the former A. A.
Ramage, Jr., home on South
Broad street, which they recently

returned to their home in Stuart,

panied them to Latta for the
week-end where they were guests
of relatives. Miss Ruth Davis of
Oteen, N. C., was also here dur
ing the past week and was ac
companied home by Dr. J. W.
Davis and his uncle, Alfred Dor-
roh, of Orangeburg, who are
spending the week in the moun
tains of North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Johnson, Sr.,
and their grandchildren, Charlie
and Julie Johnson, spent the
week-end at their cottage near
Hendersonville, N. C.
Friends of Mrs. C. M. Bailey
will be glad to kn€w she has re
turned to her home here from a
hospital in Brunswick, Ga., where
she has been a patient for several
weeks suffering a knee injury.

burg, Va., on a vacation trip.

Miss Jeanette Wilson, of Nash
ville, Ark., joined Mr. and Mrs.

here for a vacation trip the past
week. They visited points of in
terest in Florida and were guests
ol Mrs. Watkins’ sister, Mrs. Max
L. Harrelson, in Orlando several
days. The latter part of the week
they were visitors at Cherokee,
N. C., and Chattanooga, Tenn.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Blalock,
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Johnson
were at Camp Pinnacle near Hen
dersonville, N. C., Sunday to see
their sons, Bunky and Johnny.

have been guests this week of
Miss Margaret Ann Bolick at the
Bolick cottage at Pawley’s. Mrs.
W.' A. Moorhpad, who chaperoned
the group, will return today with
the visitors. Margaret Ann will
be joined by her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Julian Bolick, and sisters,
Julie and Dixie, for the remain
der of the week.

Jimmy, at Camp Pinnacle, N. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Irby Hipp, accom

spent several days last week in
the mountains of Norht Carolina.
Upon their return they visited
their son and also their daughter,
Mrs. Eugene Avery, and Mr.
Avery in Rock Hill for a few

yesterday for a two weeks stay in
