Church of God Convention
A minister’s convention for the
Church of God of Prophecy will
be held in West Greenville be
ginning Thursday, October 28,
and running through Saturday
night, it was announced by Rev.
P. A. Beasely recently.
Missionary Play
A missionary play will be giv
en at the Church of God of
Prophecy on Sloan street on
Sunday, November 13. The pub
lic is invited.
YPEC Mooting
The regular meeting of the
YPEC was held Sunday after
noon with 18 members present.
The group sang, joined in a
sword drill and heard an inspi
rational talk.
Officers will be elected next
Sunday.
All young people of every de
nomination who are interested in
this type of club, please meet at
the Lydia club house at 2:45 next
Sunday afternoon.
Hallowe'en Corn vial
A Hallowe’en carnival, spon
sored by Camp Fire, Blue Bird,
and Horizon club organizations
of the Petaga district, will be
held for several hours beginning
at 5 o’clock Saturday evening,
October 29, at Academy street
school. The proceeds will be used
toward a very worthwhile school
project at Academy St. school
and for aiding these sponsoring
organizations.
Everyone is invited to attend
in any type dress, costume or dis
guise.
