Mr. and Mrs. James Owens and sons visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owens on Thursday in Tigerville. Miss Mildred Owens returned home with them for a few days visit. Mrs. Robert Pitman spent sev eral days with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Vaughn, in Greenville last week. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Leopard and daughters spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Leopard near Saluda. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leopard near Ninety-Six. Mrs. Ethel Terry of Laurens, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cauble Sunday. Capt. and Mrs. Charles Gallo way of Augusta, Ga., visited the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Galloway, during the week end. Birthday Party To celebrate his first birthday David Owens was honored with a party Friday afternoon at the home of Nancy Ann and Eliza beth Leopard. There were twelve guests pres ent to help David have a nice party. Games were enjoyed, after which cake and ice cream with other party dainties were served by Nancy Ann and Elizabeth David received many gifts. Among those attending the party was Miss Mildred Owens of Tigerville. Club Mooting Hold The meeting of the Young Peo ple’s Fellowship club was held Sunday afternoon with 21 mem bers present. After several songs a sword drill, was given, followed by a Bible quiz led by Russell Jones. Myron Myers then gave several points on soul winning, after which Bob Raymond gave a few points on song leading. Bill Gust then gave an interesting sremonette. Special Sorvicos Special services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Church of God of Prophecy on Sloan St. It will be the revealing of the 20th century mystery of the house top service flag raising.
