Church Ceremony Unites Miss Williams and Mr. Abrams Miss Sara Brown Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Washington Williams of Conyers, Ga., became the bride of Albert Shaw Abrams, son of Mrs. Estell Abrams and the late John William Abrams of this city at services performed Saturday, June 18, at the Conyers Presbyterian church. Rev. C. C. Hamilton, pastor of the church, conducted the services in the ^presence of the immediate families and a few close friends. Organ music for the service was furnished by Ernest Phmkett, III, nephew of the groom. The altar candles were lighted by Albert Phmkett, also a nephew of the groom. Forming a beautiful background for the service was a large bai ket of white gladioli and ivy with i the bride at Jackson. seven branched candelabrae be fore a background of ivy. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was dressed in a light blue suit with white accessories. With this she wore a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Virgil Archer, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She was attired in navy blue nylon over taffeta with pink and navy accessories. She wore a pink car nation corsage. George Plunkett, Jr., served as best man for the groom. After a wedding trip to the Car olina mountains the couple will make their home on Green street in Conyers, Ga. Mrs. Abrams is employed at the 'First National bank in Atlanta. Mr. Abrams is an employe of Sin clair Refining company in Lith- onia. L S. McMillion, Jr., Weds Miss White , Miss Helen White, of Jackson and Atlanta, Ga., and Lonnie S. McMillina, Jr., of this city, were married Saturday morning, July 2, at ten o’clock. Miss Fuller Weds William Robert Gambrell In Church Ceremony Marked tty simplicity and dig nity the ceremony uniting Miss Evelyn Gera line Fuller of this city and William Robert Gambrell of Laurens, was performed Saturday, July. 2 at 8:00 in tire evening at the Baptist church with her pas tor, Rev. Joseph Hayneeworth Darr officiating. Wedding music was rendered by the organist, Mrs. Tom Avery of Laurens, who played “Through the Years’’, “Sweetest Story Ever Told”, “Always”, “Because” and ‘T Love You Truly”. Through the ceremony she played “O Perfect Love.” In the presence of the two fam ilies and a few close friends the double ring ceremony took place under an arch of greenery with a beautiful arrangement of white gladioli and palm on either side. Tapers were lighted by Mr. Oren- Beaty of this city. Ushers were Ben P. Maul din of Clinton, brother-in-law of the bride, and Fred Garribrell of Laurens, brother of the groom. The bride and groom entered the church together unattended. For her wedding the bride wore a lovely white street length dress of imported eyelet organdy over satin, featuring a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves and a full skirt. She wore a Juliet cap with a short veil, lace mitts, and her only ommaent was a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom. She carried a Bible of satin topped with a white orchid. Following the rites the couple received in the vestibule of the church. Mrs. Ben P. Mauldin, sis ter of the bride, attired in a grape colored lace gown with a pink carnation corsage, and Mrs. Rob ert E. L. Gambrell, mother of the groom, dressed in a navy blue dress with a pink corsage assisted at the reception. For traveling the bride changed to a dress of autumn gray silk of princess style and white bertha enthroned with lace and rhine stones. She wore an orchid cor sage with white accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pinckney Harrtll of this city, formerly of Greenville, snnonnee the engagement of their daughter, Patsy Eugene, In Mr. Billy Lee MeCrary, son of Mrs. Clyde Henry McCrary and the late Mr. McCrary ef this elty. The wedding will take place on August 18 at the Broad Street Methodist ehnreh. at Blalcok clinic following an operation.
