day party at her home Saturday,
June 18.
There were 20 guests present.
After games were played re
freshments consisting of cake,
cookies, soft drinks, and ice
cream were sieved. Each little
guest was presented with small
favors.
Linda Gail received many nice
gifts from her guests on this oc

Miss Wilkie Fated
Mrs. Toland Snelgrove was
hostess for a bridal shower hon
oring Miss Dorothy Wilkie at the
home of Mrs. Missouri Wilkie
Friday afternoon.
About 19 guests were present.
Games were played under the di
rection of Mrs. Wilkie, after
which refreshments, consisting
of a salad course with soft drinks
were served.
The honoree received many
beautiful gifts which were open
ed and passed.

Buckhorn Plans Are Announced
Guardians and counselors of
the Clinton Mills Camp Fire
and Blue Bird groups now are
trying to complete plans for the
annual trip to Camp Buckhorn
which will take place July 27-30.
The leaders are most anxious for
every member of the groups to
attend camp for the wonderful
experience it will be for them.
Parents are urged to have
their children register for camp
with their guardian immediately
so that plans may be completed.
It is hoped this will be the best
camp the girls have ever had.
Milk Distributors
Must Have license
All South Carolina Grade “A”
milk processor-distributors and
Grade “A” milk sub-distributors
have been notified by the South
Carolina Dairy Commission that
they must obtain a license from
the Commission on or before
July 1, 1955. This license is a re
quirement of the new Dairy Law
which was passed by the 1955
State Legislature and placed un
der the State Dairy Commission
for administration and enforce
ment.
The State Dairy Commission
does not contemplate that any of
the milk pricing provisions of the
new law will be placed into ef
fect within the near future. The
Commission has expressed the
hope that through the coopera
tion of the milk distributors and
all other milk outlets within the
state, many of the conditions
which might necessitate price
control will be eliminated.
