be interested to know he is con
valescing at his home following a
several weeks illness. Their
daughter, Mrs. Buford Wilson and
daughter, Elizabeth of Atlanta are
here with her parents, and Mr.
Wilson joined them here over the
week-end. Rev. and Mrs. L. B.
Marion, Jr., of Tuscaloosa, Ala.,
were also recent visitors here.
Mrs. V. P. Adair is spending a
month in Hampton, Va., with her
daughter, Miss Vivian Parks
Adair. Miss Adair was here dur
ing the past week and was accom
panied home by her mother.

Mrs. Ralph Blakely returned
Tuesday from a visit in Wilming
ton, N. C., with her slater, Mrs.

atives. She was joined the latter
part of the week by her daughter,
Miss Florence Blakely of Durham,
N. C., at the home of their daugh
ter and sister, Mfs. R. H. McLeod
in MdBee, and accompanied by
her to Wilmington.
Miss Lillian Dillard is spending
three weeks at Camp Ton-A.Wan-
dah, near Hendersonville as a
counselor. Four Clinton girls also
left Monday for a three weeks
stay at Ton-A-Wandah: Murray
and Mary Jane Addison, Arne Lou I
Black and Barbara Eichelberger. *
Mr. and Mrs. William Sims were
called to Madison, Ga., last week
due to the death of their brother-
in-law, J. P. Maddox. Miss Char
lotte Sims of Columbia accompan
ied them.
