The two teams were tied 0-0 at the end of the regulation game. If in playing for a championship the two competing teams are tied at the end of the regular game, they must use the Mon tana System as the way of decid ing a winner The ball is placed on the fifty-yard line and each pionship Thanksgiving week- team is given five plays each. Each team has one play at a tiihe or they alternate plays until each team has put the ball in play five times each. Heath Springs chose the first play, thereby giv ing Thornwell the right to the last play. When the last play had been run Thornwell had the ball on Heath Springs’ 45-yard line, so thornwell gained five more yards than Heath Springs in their series of five downs. Any winner of a Montana play off is given two points to none for the opponents. Thornwell gained 265 yards fo Heath Springs’ 148 yards. Thornwell had two touch downs nullified. On the first play of the game. Kenneth Mershow ran 75 yards for a touchdown and a penalty nullified the play. We have a sister who is an alcoholic and she refuses to go anywhere for help. We are think ing about the state hospital and wonder if you would recommend that she be sent there? A. We have just reason to be proud of our state hospital Like most such institutions they are under-staffed and urgently need more doctors. However, our state institution ranks well above similar institutions in other states. However, though the av erage alcoholic population at the state hospital may be 25 or more out of some S’,000 patients, the hospital, has no specific program for alcoholics and though in some and bronze metallic, turquoise and black. Sol- we should bear in mind that the ' alcoholic is not insane or men tally ill. He may be mentally confused, but if he is psychotic, is a separate afffliction from the alcoholism. In other words, an individual may have both mental illness and alcoholism, but the two afflictions are not necessarily related. Out state mental hos pital is designed to help the men tally ill, and does a good job with the little money they are given to work with. Your family phy sician should be able to deter mine if your sister is mentally ill. If so. she should be sent to a mental hospital. If not, by all means, no. Q. There is talk of a stalemate between a Repub lican President and a Democratic Congress. That will come only when politics is placed above pa triotism. The special two-tone color styling first introduced to the industry by Oldsmobile in 1954 is even more widely applied on the 1955 cars, according to G. R. Jones, Olds mobile general sales manager. “Oldsmobile stylists have creat ed an unusually distinctive appli cation of body color in the 1955 models,” Jnoes asserted. “Bright, attractive colors are utilized in striking fashion to enhance Olds mobile’s low silhouette appear ance. Contrasting or complimen tary colors are used advantag eously in two-tone styling that creates a luxurious effect of cus tom design.” The stainless steel side mould ing on the 1955 Oldsmobiles is used for the color separation on all three series—“888”, Super “88” and *‘98”.
