will soon leave to make her home

zinnias used on the dining room

Sara Glenn circle of Broad Street
Methodist church was held on
Monday evening at the home of

Plans Nov. Bazaar
In November the Clinton Coun
cil of Garden clifbs will sponsor a
bazaar at the American Legion
Hobe, it has been announced by
Mrs. A. C. Young, Jr., council pres
ident, and Mrs. C. W. Underwood,
bazaar chairman.
An array of attractive and use
ful articles will be on sale in the
various booths, which include, the
Country Store, Novelty, Plant,
Needlecraft and White Elephant
booths. In the evening dinner will
be served.

Church Women
Entertain Freshmen
The Women of the Church of the
First Presbyterian church enter
tained the Presbyterian college
freshmen on Tuesday evening in
the social rooms of the church.
A carnival note was carried out
in decoratonis and entertainmen*.
Balloons and gaily colored stream
ers were used to further the cho
sen motif. John Holland Hunter
served as master of ceremonies
and Mrs. George C. Bellingrath di
rected the 18 groups in progres
sive games. Prizes were awarded
the winning group and the indi
vidual with the highest score.
A number of members of the
church organization assisted in en
tertaining and serving punch, hot
dogs and pop corn.

assisted by Mrs. G. A. Black, who
