Boy Scout Nows
The Laurens County Boy
Scout Honor of Honor of Blue
Ridge council will be held in
Gray Court August 16. The aim
of the local troop is for each boy
to advance one step forward in
scouting and if this aim is
achieved the troop will be 100
per cent in advancement and
will receive a citation which is
worked for and desired by all
troops

Troop No. 75 are invited to at

In the annual roll call and
inspection of Laurens county
scouts held recently Joanna’s
troop 75 made a record of 99.2,
an outstanding record never
before reached in the county. A
trophy was presented to the boys
and is on display at the person
nel office of Joanna Mills. This
trophy is offered by Belk’s of
Clinton. If no troop in the
county breaks this record before
September 1 the trophy will be
given to Troop 75 permanently.
