E. Marse on Cedar street. Mrs. E. E. Smith, assisted by sev eral other members, presented the program on the topic, “Our Spanish Lutherans in North America.” During a social hour following the program the hostess served re freshments. Bridge Clubs, Parties The Past Week Mrs. Robert E. Wysor, 3rd, gave a dessert bridge Thursday after noon for members of her card club. Bridge Club Meeting This Week The Wednesday bridge club was entertained the past week at the home of Mrs. Ed Sadler on Chest nut street. Miss Dicus Hostess For Bridge Luncheon On Wednesday Miss Katherine Dicus entertained with p bridge luncheon at her home^ifi Cleveland street. Guests included several friends from out of town. Van-colored chrysanthemums in modernistic arrangements, pyra- cantiia berries and other greenry in brass containers were used in the receiving rooms. A three-course luncheon was served after cards were laid aside. Assisting in entertaining were Mrs. Tom Taylor of Greenwood, Mrs. Joe Piper, Greenville, Mrs. W. A. Dicus and Mrs. Billy Dicus.
