The Hoot Committee believes the tours win be more interesting to adults and to people of High School age than to
younger children. Children under high school age may come only when accompanied by their parents or responsible
adults. We cordially invite High School groups to attend Joanna’s Open House aa on educational project.
Tour of Joanna Mills
From $:00 A. M. to 6:00 P. M. there will be con
ducted tours of Joanna Mills, with guides to explain
the processes from opening cotton bales to shipment
of completed cloth. Visitors will also see Joanna
Memorial Hospital, and Joanna Club House. Tours
will require about one hour for each group, from
the Registration Buakhng to the Club House.
End Products Display

Visitors will see interesting exhibits of Window
Shades, Curtains and Draperies, Dress Materials.
Industrial Fabrics, and many other products made
from Joanna cloth. Three out of Soar cloth Window
Shades is America are mads §i Jqanaa material.
Souvenir Booklet
Each guest will be given a well-illtetrated Souvenir
Booklet showing and telling the story of Joanna
Mills and the fine people who work here. This bash
let will help yon remember and understand What
you see here; and K will help you to tei others
about your visit to Joanna.

Parking and Registration
A special Parking Area has been provided next to
the Registration Building, with facilities for hun
dreds of cars and buses. Attendants will assist you
to park and to leave. Officers of the S. C. Highway
Patrol will be on hand to assist the orderly flow of
traffic.
Light Refreshments
Cold drinks and cookies will be served our guests in
the Community House at the tour’s end. Hostesses
from among Joanna’s ladies will preside at the re
freshment tables. Here friends nay meet and talk.
