this is nonsense. For every buyer
there must be a seller, and vice ver

with both bullish and bearish “out
looks.” Every day contrary opin
ions are published in the same
newspapers, or magazines, or by
competing investment services.
: This is very unfortunate. It is like
releasing each day two completely
opposite weather forecasts! !
Businessmen and investors will
i«not always stand for this nonsense.
I foretell that some day the FRB or
' the SEC will interest the IBM in
making a million-dollar machine
which will daily compute intelli

business and investment forecasts
will not always be correct; but they
: will be honest and not contradic
tory.
Pitts-Gary Post
Launches Drive
To Build Hut
On Friday night at Bell Street
school Pitts-Gary Post No. 205,
Clinton’s colored American Legion
organization, - launched a drive for
the purpose of raising funds to
build a Legion Hut.
The Post is giving away a 21-inch
Console Admiral television set on
Friday evening, December 4, to the
^rson holding the lucky number.
The award meeting will be held at
the school.
The Post is circulating several
hundred books of tickets in the
community to both white and col
ored citizens asking their support
in the drive. If the campaign is
successful it is planned to build a
suitable hut in order to expand
their activities in the community.
Mayor J. P. Terry will be pres
ent on the night the award is made
to announce the winner. The lucky
person must not be present to win,
but will be notified by the officers.
