THANKS to god
Dearest Lord, King of Heaven and
Earth,
King of Love, hope and salvation,
Ye Lord of life, king of death,
King of kings and all creatimT
Ye Lord, we thank Thee for all thou
has done
And for the blessed work of Thy
own hand
In Jesus’ name, our Lord, Thy only
begotten son,
Lead us to Thy glorious and prom
ised land.
The land where so golden brigt#
and sunny
There no day by to pass nor dark
ness all,
But forever and ever the land of
milk and honey, •
And the glory of the Father for m
all.
Ye Lord, if Thou will but hearken
to my song
The song of today is my reward of
tomorrow.
Prepare me, Lord, for thy heavenly
throng,
Where life knows no sin nor sorrow.
Ye Lord, help us to forgive and be
forgiven,
To love, to rejoice with all our
neighbors,
On earth, to share the same as in
Heaven,
The glory and the fruit of thy labor.
We thank Thee, Oh God, for Thy
wisdom and patience
And for all Thy glorious gifts on
earth to men.
Thou gave men life to live and du
ration
On earth Thy will to do for his
reward in the end.
Ye Lord, guide us from the evil and
wicked temptation
And deliver us from the god of sil
ver and gold,
For what profit on earth, the glory
and coronation,
To gain the whole world and lose
* his soul.
Ye Lord, provide for us the will to
understand,
The good Samaritan and his work
how to do, •
For he that love the Son of man ,
He knows the Father and the Son
also.
Grant to us, Oh Lord,* the courage
not to cease
To comfort the sick, to love the poor.
To overcome the evil and 19 live in
peace.
So that the gate of Heaven be
comes an open door.
Ye Lord, I can sing on and on,
through and through,
But he that believe not, he knows
none.
Forgive them, Father, for they know'
not what they do.
In His name’s sake, Our Lord, Thy
beloved Son.
Amen
