Anderson won its game handily, defeating Walhalla 10-0. Green wood faced more formidable oppo sition but managed to overcome Laurens 5-3. Yesterday afternoon’s champion ship game was to be playell at the Little League park here at 5:00 o’clock. Following the game P. S. Bailey, president of the two lo cal textile mills, presented trophies to the championship team, t9 the runners-up and to the most valu able player of the three-day tour nament. Clinton Drops Out On Monday afternoon Laurens and Anderson teams won in the district tournament. Laurens elim inated Clinton 5-1, and Anderson rallied to drop Union 5-4. Union, held scoreless until the last inning, rushed across four runs in the final frame to take a 4-2 lead. The Anderson boys came back to put across the winning run with two outs, and McConnell drove in two of the three runs with a double. The Laurens team supported Thomason flawlessly and he al lowed Clinton only four hits, win ning 5-1. Stir in slowly a mixture of milk and water. Bring to a boil, stirring con stantly. Boil slowly and stir 30 sec onds. Remove from heat. Stir slowly into slightly beaten egg yolk. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Cover and chill. Stir occasionally while chilling. Grease 4 large custard cups or dessert dishes. Roll graham crackers into fine crumbs. Blend in peanut butter with fork. With back of spoon, press crumb mixture on - bottom and sides of greased dishes. Fill with chilled pud ding. Beat egg white until stiff. Beat in brown sugar, a tablespoon at a time. Put on top of puddings and continue cbilling until ready to serve.
