for the July meeting. The presi
dent presided over the business
hour and routine business was dis
cussed. A secretary of student
work was elected, Mrs. P. W. Tur
ner. The filling of this office made
the society 100 per cent organized
in all phases of the work. Mrs.
Lester Longshore presented the
monthly program, “America on the
Move.” She was assisted by Mes
dames Cecil O’Dell, James Simp
son and Lavinia Cooley. The scrip
ture and meditation thoughts were
given by Mrs. Pat Bowers.
