Layton Fraser left yesterday to at tend the conference at Montreat, & C, as offical delegates from the First Presbyterian church, Women of the Church. They will return next Tuesday. Mrs. H. R. McLeod and son, Rob ert, of McBee, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blakely. Mr. and Mrs. William P. Jacobs, 3rd, and Hugh S. Jacobs attended a meeting of the Printing Industry of the Carolinas the past week-end at Blowing Rock, N. C. Mr. and Mns.
