Elizabeth Harbin returned home
with her grandmother for a week’s

4th McElhannon reunion. Mr. and

The Brotherhood of Lydia Baptist
church will meet Thursday (to
night) instead of 'Friday night as
previously announced. All men of

Fire Destroys Homxe
Friends will be sorry to learn of
the loss of the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Banks on Locust street
Friday afternooii. The house and
furhshings burned following a stove
explosion.
Social Enjoyed
Joyce Mitchell was hostess to a
group of boys and girls Thursday
night at the Community center.
After playing a series of games on
the Badminton courts the guests
were invited into the lounge where
refreshments were served. The
group enjoyed television.
Hobby Club Meets
The Hobby club met Monday
night at the Community center.
Several beautiful pieces of china
were painted. The club now uses
an electric kiln and does its own
firing, officers announce. All in
terested persons in art are invited.
