On Sunday Mrs. J. R. Reynolds de

Friday night, June 12 at Academy
street school the Woman’s club of
the community is sponsor for a Tom
Thumb wedding in which little Di
anne Bradberry will marry Furman

The 8:00 ceremony will be con
ducted by Jimmy Kinard, who will
play the. part of the clergyman.
Greenery, white flowers, and can
dles will form the background for

of honor Judy Lever. Bridesmaids

morning for a four-bay stay at
Crescent Beach. They encamped
at the Kinlaw Apartments which
was very convenient for the group.
Each girl sharing her part of the
work and helping to make the rec
reation program of musjc and skits
enjoyable, made camping a pleas
ure.
Thursday night the group made
a visit to Ocean Drive, and had
much fun at the amusement carni
val. On Friday afternoon the girls
went to Myrtle Beach and saw the
parade of beauty queens at the Sun
Festival. After a shopping spree
the group went to the beach and
enjoyed the amusements on the pa
vilion. Saturday afternoon they
visited Cherry Grove Beach and
Little River.
In Business Craft the girls plan
their finances. So each day only a
fourth of the amount each girl car
ried on the trip was spent.
WelFplanned menus were served
and the girls in groups of fours
with their leader prepared the
meals. Mrs. lone Wallace was di
rector of the camp, with Mrs. J. B
Tempfcton, First-Aid, Mrs. David
Roberts, adult counselor and Geo.

Just before leaving on Sunday
morning the Sunday school lesson
was taught with the girls taking
