in Jonesville who suffered a brok

Meeting Postponed
The hike and weiner roast plan
ned by the Ot-Ya-Kwa group has
been postponed until next week.
The girls will in the meantime
complete their notebooks for the
third rank on Thursday.

Shower Given
On Monday evening Mrs. Mary
Lee Maree was entertained with
a shower at the home of Mrs. J. J.
McGinnis.
Games appropriate to the occas
ion were enjoyed throughout the
evening, after which Mrs. Maree
was presented many gifts.
Mrs. McGinnis, assisted by Mrs.
Lucille Woody, served a salad
course with cake and drinks.
Church Circle To Meet
The Frances Watson circle of
Calvary Baptist church will meet
Monday evening at 7 30 at the
home of Mrs. A. W. Ridings on
Adair street.
The Nan Trammel circle will
meet with Mrs. Alvin Trammell on
North Broad street at 7 o'clock.
Birthday Dinner Enjoyed
On Sunday Mrs. J. H. Seay was
honored by her family with a birth
day dinner at Paris Mountain state
her 70th birthday. A lovely cake
park. Mrs. Seay was celebrating
adorned the table where dinner
was served picnic style. Mrs. Seay
was remembered with many gifts
on this happy occasion. Those at
tending from here were Mrs. Seay,
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Seay, and son
and Miss Feroline Seay.
