Watt today an nounced he is not going to run for the congressional seat vacated by the death last week of ftepresentative Joseph R. Bryson of Greenville. Watt’s decision left three candi dates who are seeking the post. They Proposed New Court For County «.— A new court designed to take the pressure of numerous minor cases off the Laurens County Court of Common Pleas has been propose^ by the cdunty delegation. Introduced in the House was a bill calling for the replacement of the Domestic Relations Court with a Civil Court, effective July 1. the second anniversary of the Domes tic Court. The court would be authorized to handle civil cases of not more than $2,000, excepting real estate titles, foreclosures, and partition acts. The bill calls for a judge at a $3,000 yearly salary, appointed by the governor on recommendation of a majority of the Laurens Coun ty Bar Association. The court is to sit at least once a month in quarters provided in the court house or on the order of the presiding judge. The order calls for a venire of 18 petit jur ors drawn from the regular jury box. A trial jury will consist of six men picked from the 18, three strikes being allowed each side. He had filled the solicitor’s job for 22 years. Solicitor Ashmore announced his candidacy last night after William J.
