Kirven is featured on the front cover of the March issue of The Shield and Diamond, the frater nity’s national quarterly publica tion, along with All-America John Miohels of Tennessee and Tom Scott of Virginia. Another Presbyterian stalwart of the past season. Tack's Tommy Sheriff of Orangeburg, was one of two players not making the fra ternity All-America, who received special commendation.
