eral days wiht her brother-in-law

her home in Greer alter visiting her
mother, Mrs. Ada Center.
Mrs. Alda Fuller has returned
home after a week’s visit with her
sister, Mrs. G. R. .Clark and Mr.

Mrs. Nellie Poster of Myrtle Beach,
a designer for McCall magazine and
gifted in all types of needlecraft,
will be in Clinton soon to assist those
interested in needlecraft.

Brotherhood Meeting Held
The Baptist Brotherhood of the
Laurens-Reedy River Associations
met last Tuesday night at Calvary
Baptist church. The program was di
rected by Mr. John Farmer, state di
rector of Baptist Brotherhood Work
in South Carolina and was as fol
lows: Song and Praise service; Film
strip on Brotherhood work and an
inspirational message by Dr. V. Ward
Barr, pastor of the First Baptist
church, Gastonia, N. C.
Following the program the men
gathered In the soclanialt • of
church where the ladies served sup
per to the group of metre than 100.
