NEURITIS
Neuritis simply means “in-
flamation of the nerve.” Nerves
become inflamed when the del
icate function of the nerve tis
sues become disturb 2d. When
the impulses governing the
primary functions become
blocked and impaired excessive
heat is set up and the nerve or
its sheath becomes inflamed.
The pain is often excruciating
and almost unbearable. When
the inflammation becomes
chronic* there is often a forma
tion of connective tissue that
binds the nerve and majces the
pain continuous. '
Case History: Lady, age 38,
developed a severe Neuritis in
the right shoulder and arms.
After suffering with the condi
tion for months and trying va
ried treatment, she turned to
Chiropractic for relief. A Chi
ropractic analysis showed
pressure on nerves supplying
the nerves <5f the afflicted
shoulder and arm. As this
pressure was removed by ad
justments to the spine the con
dition began to clear. The pain,
subsided in a few days and
over a period of several weeks
the inflammation cleared com
pletely.
The progress of Chiropractic
and the outstanding results
achieved are due to its merit
alone. Rather than just treat
effects and deaden pain, the
Chiropractor a d j u s t s the
CAUSE and the natural heal
ing forces of the body bring
about a cure of the condition.
