Mrs. Opal Bogert of Detroit, Mich,, recently visited her brother, O. F. Beaty, and sister, Mrs. L. V. Powell, and their farmilies enroute to Miami, Fla. Mrs. Bob Hays has returned to her home in Atlanta, Ga., after spending a few days with her par^ ents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy L. Cope land. Also here during the week because of Mr. Copeland’s illness, were Mr. Hays and Mr. and Mrs. K. L. Floyd of Olanta. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. George Cato and sons will be interested to know r they have moved to Aiken where the former is manager of Eden’s Food Store. Mrs. C. M. Bailey has returned from a several weeks’ visit w'ith her daughter, Mrs. W. B. Lea, and Mr. Lea in Rocky Mount, N. C. Rutherfordton, N. C., after a sev eral days visit with their daughter, Miss Mary Ann Craig, and Mrs. Craig's brother, Dr. George C. Bei- lingrath, and Mrs. Bellingrath. W. C. Baldwin attended the inau guration of Resident Eisenhower in Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pitts and family have moved to their recent ly completed home on Musgrove street extension. Mrs. Dick Smith and daughter,. Becky, of Atlanta, spent several days last week with her brother, Thomas F. Hollis and Mrs. Hollis.' Also guests of the Hollises on' Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Chas Baker of Charlotte, N. C. Mrs. I. O. Ray, Sr., has returned from an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. M. D. Douglas, and Mr. Douglas in Georgetown, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Ray, their daughter, Ann, Joan Ray and Nancy Simpson spent the week-end in Georgetown! and accompanied her home. f Mrs. W. L.
