Rutledge Adair of Hock Hill, were week-end guests of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Henry. Mr. and Mrs. James Tinkler and children, Jimmy and Jane, of Cliff- skle, N. C., spent Sunday with Mrs. Tinkler’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Knox. Miss Louise Bultman and Geo. Bultman of Sumter, spent the Thanksgiving holidays here with their sister, Mrs. Raymond Pitts. Miss Sunie Murphy of Memphis, Tenn., is visiting her brother, R. G. Murphy, and Mrs. Murphy. Miss Carolyn Murphy of Wilmington, N. C., also spent the week-end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hazel and family are occupying the Sessions residence on Cedar street. Mr. Hazel is employed at Joanna. Friends of Mrs. Varina Betsill will be glad to know she is able to be out again after an illness and stay in a Columbia hospital. Vis iting her during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Betsill and daughter, Susan, of Indianapolis, Ind., George S. Betsill of Sea Island, Ga., and Edwin H. Betsill of Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Crocker and daughter, Jinny, of Slater, spent the week-end with the lat ter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Suddeth of Washington, D. C., were here with the former’s mother, Mrs. B. H. Suddeth, for the Thanksgiving sea son. C., visited Mrs. Trask’s mother, were Thanksgiving guests of Mr. Mrs. Lee Hunter, a few days last week. Also here for Thanksgiving day were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hunter and children of Lyman. Mr. and Mrs. John Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martin and children and T. S. Latimer of Ware Shoals, and Miss Eugenia Drake of Don alds, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Casque. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. HeUams, Jr., students at the University of Georgia, Athens, were here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Hellams and Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Workman, Sr„ for the Thanksgiv ing holidays Friends of J. C., were Thanksgiving guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O’Daniel. Guy Blakely, student at The Citadel, Charleston, spent the holi days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Blakely. Lee Blakely, student at Bowman-Gray Medical School, Winston-Salem, N. C., was also at home for the week-end. Lt. Col. Archie Sam Adair, Mrs. Adair and daughters, Cherry, March and Carol, have returned to their home in Falls Church, Va.,' after a visit with, the former’s! mother, Mrs. H. D. Rantin, and Mr. Rantin.
