The Little Seals
The state campaign for the sale
<>f the little Christmas Seals is now
underway. As in the past a wide
mail distribution will be made of
lhe little health messengers, in
cluding the residents of our city
and community, and it is hoped the
response will be prompt and gen
erous. When we buy these little
seals we are helping a great or
ganization dedicated to fighting tu
berculosis. We know that the mon
ey we give to this worthy cause
works for us through education,
for research, X-ray programs and
rehabilitation service for patients.
Briefly then' Christmas; Seals are
an investment irt health insurance,
and many of the benefits come to
those in need in our own county
and community. We make a good
investment when we buy the little
messengers.
"Dying Like Flies"
Gen. Eisenhower in his cam
paign told the American people,
“I will go to Korea to gain first
hand information on war condi
tions.” He is now clearing the way
to make that impbrtant and haz
ardous trip with one purpose—in
the hope he will find some way
to bring the war to an honorable
that his new cabinet is shaping up
well and that the General knows
how to call the signals for a for
ward-looking team. What we need
is a “business administration,” and
that is what we are to have. It
means a re-creating of confidence
in the people and in the business
w’orld.
