Mrs. Arthur Davis entertained 20
little guests Wednesday evening at
her home honoring her son, Maxie
on his ninth birthday. Outdoor
games were enjoyed under the di
rection fo Miss Linda Stewart and
Miss Carolyn Davis after which
Mrs. Davis invited the children into
the house where they were served
crackers, pepsi cola and candy.

Birthday Dinner Given
Mrs. Ott Thomas and Mrs. Eddie
Davenport honored their husband
and father- with a dinner on Satur
day in observance of his birthday.
Only the immediate family attended
and remembered Mrs. Thomas with
several gifts on this happy occasion.
Choral Groups To Meet
The girls choral group and the
male chorus are meeting every Tues
day evening at the community build
ing. The girls practice at 7:00 p. m.
and the boys at 7:30 p. m., with a
joint practice at 8 p. m.
