Thornwell fought back in the third
period by scoring seven plays after
the kickoff on tailback Markhow’s
plunge. Bartonfield ran the con
version.
Paul Davis, talented AJbbeville
back, intercepted a Thornwell pass
in the fourth canto on his own 45
yard line, returning it to the Thorn-
v.ell 43. After a series of running
plays, Davenport, subbing for Davis,
scampered 37 yards for a Panther
TD. Harold Scroggs ran the con-
