day in November next, being Mon
day, the 3rd day of the month, dur
ing the legal hours for such sales, the
following descrioed property, to wit:
1. Lot and bbilding known as the
Scott Store building, bounded on the
north by East Pitts Street, 126 feet,
more or less; east by Musgrove
Street, 42 feet, more or less; south
by other lands of J. A. Bailey and
estate of F. C. Bailey 126 feet, and
on the west by North Broad Street.

here Tuesday night in the annual
college field before a fair-sized crowd.
The Bell Street boys made their
first touchdown in the third quarter
when James Prather, tackle, blocked
i a Sanders punt, with Captain Higgins
| recovering and stepping five yards to
cross the goal. The second Bell Street
caught a pass on the goal line and and
raced across. Both extrq points failed.
Outstanding players on the local
squad were Higgins, Oliver Blakely,
David Revick, Booker T. Kinard,
Floyd Walk, J. D. Williams, Ferguson,
Ray Kinard and Robert Peake.
