Moose Supper Tonighi
Members of the Joanna Loyal
Order of Moose will be entertained
at a chicken barbecue supper to
night (Thursday) at Moose hall on
the Columbia highway. At this
time Jake Isenhower, of Salisbury,
N. C., regional representative for
; the district, will be honored.
Following the supper, prepared
and served by Messrs. Carroll
Johnson and Rook Thomas, new
members will be initiated into the
organization.

Miss Lowman Entertains
On Saturday evening Miss Mar
lene Lawman and Miss Annelle
Shealy were hostesses to 20 young
people at the home of the former

the party rooms. The evening’s
entertainment was a round of un
usual games, music and informal
dancing.
The refreshments of ice cream,
assorted cookies, cup cakes, iced
drinks and nuts were served buffet
style from a daintily appointed
table. Marlene’s mother, Mrs. J.
F. Lowman, assisted the girls in
