ILLNESS BRIEFS...AIKHH THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW Items of Interest Concerning Clinton Residents Hub Hunter, who is attending summer camp at Camp Gordon, Ga., spent the week-end with his parents. Dr. and Mrs. F. K. Shealy are spending two weeks at their home in Vero Beach, Fla. Mrs. John Hansen has returned to her home in Allenhurst, N. J., after a visit with her sister, Mrs. A. J. Johnson. Mrs. Guy Pitts' is spending this week in Camden with her daugh ter, Mrs. Johnny Rykard, and Mr. Rykard. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wysor, III, end children were week-end guests of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Oscar Owens, in Moultrie, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simpson, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Chandler, Mrs. Irby Chandler of Ware Shoals, and Miss Sara Chandler visited points of interest in North Caro lina, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D. G., during the week. While away they visited Lt. and Mrs. Virgil Simpson in Petersburg, Va. Mrs. James F. King and sons of Arlingtdn, Va., are Visiting the for mer’s mother, Mrs. J. W. Leake. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Adams of Macon, Ga, are visiting Mrs J B-_ Speake and family lor several clays Mr. and Mrs. Ro Hamilton spent the' holidays in Easley with rela tives. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Brown and family of Lexington, N. C., spent several days last week with Mrs. L. S. Henderson. Mrs. George T. Brown returned home with them for a visit Misses Myrtle DuBose and Enid Lancaster are spending this week at Pawley’s Island. Miss Barbara Murphy of Honea Path, -and Miss Mary Ann Hamil ton of Greenwood, visited MLiss Sara Chandler Sunday. Mrs. Mamie Wilde is spending several weeks in Maryville, Tenn., with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Rawlinson (Smilie) Martin have returned from their wedding trip to points of interest in Florida. Mrs. Martin is residing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Cason, while Mr. Martin attends the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Fuller Reese and sons of Abbeville, were guests several days last week of Mrs. L. S. Hen derson Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gault of Bamberg, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gault, Jr., and daughter. Ginger, of Greenville, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Godfrey. Lt. Callie Gault of Fort Benning, Ga., was also a guest in the Godfrey home for the week-end. Mrs. Gaylt and little daughter, Jey Godfrey, who have been spending several weeks with the Godfreys, returned home with him to Colum bus, Ga., to make their home. Mrs. H. M. Tom Bryson of Mountville, who are at Fort Knox, Ky., spent the week-end with their parents. Mrs. P. F. Roddy has returned to her home at Winnsboro, after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. P. L. James VonHollen is attending the North Carolina Bankers con ference at Chapel Hill, N. C., this week. Barney Black of Greenville, is visiting his aunt, Mrs. E. N. Sul livan, and Dr. Sullivan. Mrs. Lee Hunter has returned from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Heide Trask, in Wilmington. N. ( C., to Rev. and Mrs. Louis La- Motte in Maxton, N. C., and her granddaughter, Mrs. David Trice, in Fayetteville, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bagwell, Jr., and daughters, Zane and Kathy, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Greene left Saturday for a buying trip to New York for the Earline Shop. Sgt. and Mrs. M. E. Larson of Camp LeJeune, N. C., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blakely They were accompanied home by their daughter, Pauline, who had been visiting here. Miss Vivian Parks Adajr of Hampton, Va., spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Adair. She was accompanied home by her mother for a several weeks visit. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Suddeth of Washington, D. C., spent several days last week with the former’s mother, Mrs. B. H. Suddeth. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thomas and daughter, Kay, and Mr and Mrs. R. P. Wilder spent Sunday at Lake Junaluska, N. C. Their daughter, Terry, who had been attending conference there, accompanied them home.
