Guardsmen To Vote
Before Going To Camp
Members of the local National
Guard who will leave for two
weeks camp training in July, will
be given the privilege of voting
in the primary before their depart
ure since the election will be held
during their absence.
County Chairman R. C. Wasson
has announced that members of
the unit will be given an oppor
tunity to cast their ballots here at
the armory on June 30, from 6 to
8 p. m.
Cleaners To Close
Week June 30-July 5
Local dry cleaning establish

they will be closed June 30 through
July 5. They will reopen for busi
ness on the morning of July 7.
The closing, me announcement
states, is to give their employees
a week’s vacation following an es
tablished custom. The notice is
