D. Dawkins and Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Dawkins and son visited Mrs. T. E. Edgeworth in Hartsville Sunday. 1 Mrs. Lawrence W. Sanford spent several days last week visiting her aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Pal mer Calvert in Union. Mrs. J. L. Wright has returned home after a visit to her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Wade and Mr. Wade and son in Columbia. While away she accompanied them to Daytona Beach, Fla., on a vacation trip. Mrs. J. j. Langston Sr., of Dar lington, has returned to her home after a Visit with her sisters, Mrs. Agnes Kern and Mrs. Ray Ander son. Miss Lillian Dillard left Sunday to spend three weeks as a counsel lor at Camp Ton-A-Wandah near Hendersonville, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Wat Henderson of Atlanta, Ga., visited the former’s mother, Mrs. L. S. Henderson, over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tucker and son, Billy, of Augusta, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Wpdg_and in fant child of Maryville, Tenn., vis ited Mrs. Mamie Wilde over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. James G. Friends of Miss Carne Mitchell, a former resident of this city, will be glad to know that she has re covered sufficiently to be removed to the home of her niece, Mrs. Jeff Sanders, in Clover. She has been a patient in the Memorial hospital, Charlotte, for four weeks suffering severe and painful injuries sustain ed in a motor accident.. Mrs. J. M. Stevenson of Green wood, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Payne and children of Laurens, visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whitlock last week. Mrs. Mary Crosby and children are visiting her mother, Mrs. J. L. Simmons, in Belle Glade, Fla., this week. Chris Adair, Jr., has accepted a position with Yarborough Supply Co., toy wholesalers. He and Mrs. Adair with their small son are re siding in the King Apartments. Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Ellis are spending several days with rela tives in Heath Springs.
