Mrs. L. B. Blackwell
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie
Harmon Blackwell, 75, were con
ducted Saturday moning from a
Laurens mortuary chapel by her
pastor, the Rev. Tom Cook, of the
First Presbyterian church. Inter
ment followed here in the Presby
terian church cemetery. Mrs.
Blackwell died at her home last
Thursday night following a period
of declining health.
She was preceded to the grave
several years ago by her husband,
who was a Clinton resident for a
number of years before moving to
Laurens where he was engaged in
the printing and newspaper busi
ness until his death.
Survivors include one son, J.
William Blackwell of Laurens;
three daughters, Mrs. L. C. Padg
ett, Jr., of Laurens; Mrs. T. C. Had-
i don of Durham, N. C.; and Mrs. H.
T. McElveen of Florence; and five
; grandchildren.
