League To Open
Tuesday Night
The opening home game of the
Central Carolina league will be play
ed here next Tuesday flight, April 15,
with Clinton Mills meeting the Nine
ty Six team of the loop. The game
will be played at the mill park at 8
o’clock. Batteries announced for
Clinton are Whitaker and Lombardi.
This being the opening game, a large
crowd is expected.
The other two tearps in the loop
are Joanna and Ware Shoals.

Easter Cantata —
The annual Easter cantata by the
choir of the First Presbyterian
church was presented last Sunday
evening before a large congregation.
