Matthews and sons, Eddie and Wayne of Charlotte, N. C., Mr. and Mrs. James Haymes and Jimmy of West Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. Chitwood’s daughter, Miss Dorothy Nell Chit wood of Atlanta, recently spent the week-end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Bailey, Jr., and family spent the week-end in Camesville, Ga., with Mr. and Mrs. Hoke Wright. Kenneth Trammell spent the week-end with Carey Smith in Ware Shoals. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell and Ruth were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Smith in Ware Shoals Sunday. IFoyd Elmore of Spartanburg, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with his sister, Mrs. H. W. Camp bell, and Mr. Campbell. Mrs. J. T. Bray of Greenvile, spent the week-end with her dagh- ter, Mrs. Raph Harbin, and Mr. Harbin. Mr. and Mrs. Walker Jones of Union, spent Sunday with his sis ter,, Mrs. K. F. Johns. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Patterson and twins, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meadors and Butch of near Clinton, were dinner guests Thanksgiving of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Mitchell. Miss Miriam Templeton of Win- throp college, spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Templeton, and attended the Greenville-Parker football game on Thursday. Mrs. W. S. Meeks of Ninety-Six, is spending several days with her son, J. C. Meeks and Mrs. Meeks. On Sunday they visited relatives in Cross Anchor. Mr and Mrs. Carl Dean and daughter of Belton. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Baker of near Clinton, were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Overstreet. Cpl. Joe Proffitt of port Ben- ning, Ga., spent several days last week with Mrs. Proffitt, the for- jner Miss Dewel Satterfield before being transferred to Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Hobby Club In Masting The Hobby club met Mpnday night in the community center and worked on finishing up all projects that have been studied the last few months. The making of gifts will be demonstrated during the month of December. Plans are being made for entirely new projects for January. The group at present is making beautiful organdy aprons and painting them with textile paints, using the no-brush method with which they have been very successful. Some of the members are tooling and metal tapping cop per which will have an antique finish. Name plates have also been stippled on brass.
