Hobby Club In Masting
The Hobby club met Mpnday
night in the community center and
worked on finishing up all projects
that have been studied the last few
months. The making of gifts will
be demonstrated during the month
of December. Plans are being
made for entirely new projects for
January. The group at present is
making beautiful organdy aprons
and painting them with textile
paints, using the no-brush method
with which they have been very
successful. Some of the members
are tooling and metal tapping cop
per which will have an antique
finish. Name plates have also
been stippled on brass.

Club 16 entertained their hus
bands and friends at a supper party
Tuesday night in the dining room
of the community center. Mrs. Dot
Harvey presided as hostess and
welcomed the guests.
The supper table was attracitvely
laid around a centerpiece sugges
tive of the harvest season. A huge
arrangement ‘of fruits and nuts
poured from a horn of plenty to
help carry out the Thanksgiving
therrte.
After supper the guests were in
vited into the lounge where tele
vision was enjoyed.
