Youth Night
The young people of the com
munity have organized a Youth
Night to be held each Saturday
evening at 7:30 at the community
building.
All young people are invited to
the socials. Entertainment is plan
ned for each meeting.
Arts And Crafts Class
Members of the Woman’s club
of the community have been en
gaged in a class of arts and crafts
the past several. weeks, coiducted
by Mrs. Jo Lambert of Joanna, as
instructor. The class has been mak
ing aluminum and copper trays
and waste baskets of plywood with
copper designs and leather lacing.
The class will soon start painting
figurines. Each person taking the
lessons will pay a small fee plus
the cost of material for the article
to be made. The class meets each
Tuesday evening at the community
biulding at 6:30.
The club is plnaning to have an
exhibit in the near future of the ar
ticles made by members. All la
dies are invited to visit the club to
see the projects which have been
done.
