Dennis N. Morgan
Dies Suddenly
Dennis N. Morgan, 75, was found
ded at his home near here Tuesday
afternoon, death being due to a
heart attack. He was a native of
Spartanburg county but had resid
ed ih Laurens county a number of
years. He was a member of Lydia
Mill Pentecostal Holiness church.
Mr. Morgan was married three
times. His first wife was the late
Mrs. Lizzie E. Wofford Morgan.
From this union four daughters
survive: Mrs. A. B. Johnson of
Lockhart, Mrs. W. L. Cato of Clin
ton, Mrs. John F. Gentry and Mrs. 1
James E. Crumpton of Spartanburg.
His second wife was the late Mrs.
Evie Lawson Morgan. His third wife,
Mrs. Dora Whitmire Morgan, also
survives, with one brother, John
Morgan of Gastonia, N. C., and, sevi
eral grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted
yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon
from the home of Mrs. Cato at
Lydia Mills by the Rev. Mr. Fry.
Burial followed in Lydia Mill cem
etery.
