(Serves 5)
1 16-ounce can whole onions.
2 tablespoons butter or substi
tute.
2 tablespoons chipped parsley, j
1 teaspoon worchstershire sauce.
V4 teaspoon celery salt.
ft teaspoon pepper.
1 cup grated sharp cheese.
V* cup chopped walnuts.
Drain onions and place in but
tered baking dish. Melt butter, add
parsley, worcestersire sauce, celery
salt and pepper; pour over onions.
Mix cheese and nuts together and
sprinkle over top of onions. Bake
in a moderate (350) oven for 15
minutes or until cheese is melted.

(Serves 4)
1 cup cooked pork, cut in
strips.
1 tablespon chopped onion.
1 tablespoon fat.
14 cup vinegar.
% cup water.
1 tablespoon cornstarch.
2 tablespoons brown sugar.
1 teaspoon salt.
2 cups cooked green beans.
2 cups cooked diced carrots.
Brown onion in fat in skillet.
Combine vinegar, water, corn
starch, sugar and salt; stir into on
ions. Heat. Add pork; cook 10 min
utes. Add beans and carrots. Heat
slowly in a casserole for 20 to 25
minutes in a moderate oven.
