Mission Society In Meet
The August meeting of the mis
sionary society of Bailey Memorial
church was held at the home of
Mrs. John H. Holland.
The meeting opened by singing
the theme song, “Jesus Calls Us.”
The scripture was read by Mrs.
Vallie Stewart from the 14th chap
ter of St. John, after which prayer
was offered by Mrs. Holland.
Minutes were read and approved
and the roll was answered with a
verse of scripture by each one pres
ent.
A report was given by Mrs. Mar
cell Barker, treasurer, after which
business was taken up.
Refreshments were served by the
hostess and the meeting -adjourned.
