Melt a half a cake of paraffin and add to it one cup of turpentine. Seaman Snyder Back From Tar East ^ i John R. Snyder, Jr., seaman ap prentice in the navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Snyder, of Route 1, Clinton, is serving aboard the de stroyer USS Massey, and arrived in Norfolk, Va., July 2, after nine months duty in the Far East. The Massey, a unit of destroyer division 162, left Norfolk last Sep tember and proceeded to the Far East via the Panama Canal.
