BETTER SOKR! fourth win behind the three hit pitching of Richard Price. Clinton continuously cha'nging their batting order is trying To get the power , clicking together, but up until now they have received most of their hits from the lower part of their batting machine. Looking back over the rec ord books we find a young second sacker, Charles Oxner making pitch ers take up and notice him. Charles Oxner has been doing a fine job at second base and he' has been doing 1 an excellent jab of getting on the bases. In three games Oxner has been on base ten times in three ball , games. Fuel Boland, Clinton’s ace, won his third straight game as he pitched Clinton to a 8-6 win over ; Whitmire two games off. When all ■ the college coaches are hunting fine pitching for next year, I think that • they should watch Boland pitch a couple of games.
