where two tables were arranged for
the games. Mrs. Lykes Henderson
won top score.

course and cold drinks were served.
Birthday Party For
Little Bagwell Girls
On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Lewis
Bagwell, Jr., and Mrs. Alvin Bagwell
entertained at the home of the for
mer with a joint birthday party hon
oring their little daughters, Jinny
and Kathie who were celebrating
their second birthdays.
During the afternoon about 35
little guests enjoyed a number
of games. Each Ifttle guest re
ceived gay-colored hats as favors.
Later in the afternoon the large dec
orated birthday cake bearing two
tiny candles was cut. Refreshments
of ice cream and cookies were en
joyed. The little girls received nu
merous gifts. The hostesses were as
sisted by Mrs. L. H. Bagwell, Sr.

Enoys Meeting
Mrs. Hubert Boyd was hostess on

club for a number of afternoon
games.
Mrs. James Addison and Mrs.
George R. Blalock were winners of
the score prizes. When cards were
laid aside the hostess served a re
freshment course.
Roses and iris were prettily array
ed in the hostess’ home 'for the occa
sion.

Honors Miss Hall
The Wadsworth Home Demonstra
tion club held its April meeting with
Mrs. Hugh B. Workman. Instead of
the regular program the group had
a social hour in honor of Miss Susan
Hall whose marriage is to occur
soon. Contests and games were en
joyed.
The honoree was presented ar love
ly corsage and a place setting in her
chosen china. Refreshments were
served by the hostess.
Later a social hour was enjoyed;,
and the hostess served sandwiches,,
cookies and punch.

A lovely luncheon was given for
Miss Betty Taylor and Burt C. Cope-
ly on their wedding day by Mrs.
Marshall Brown, Mrs. C. M. Bailey,
Mrs. W. L. Marshall, Jr., and Mrs.
J. F. Jacobs, at the home of the
former.
Covers were laid for thirty guests
at small tables appointed with nose
gays of sweetheart roses and place .

the buffet table.

the reception hall and elsewhere

Emily Bailey
On Monday, April 23rd, Mrs. P. S.
Bailey entertained with a theatre-
dinner party honoring her daughter,
Emily, who was celebrating her 12th
birthday.
Following the theatre party, the
twelve friends returned to Emily's
home where a course dinner was
served.

here on Friday at the First Presby
