Boy Seoul Interest Growing
Boy Scout Troop 138 of the Clin
ton Mills are really on the go. We
have recently bought camping
equipment for thirty boys and we
now have thirty-four boys enroll
ed, but we still have room for
more. We have registered twenty
boys for a week at Camp Old In
dian this summer. They will be
there the week of July 15-21. We
are planning to have several more
boys'* to sign up for this trip yet.
We are also taking an overnight
camping trip at least twice a month.
Our troop has a new power lawn
mower which we are using to cut
grass in the community in order to
raise funds for the troop’s activities.
We have 30 boys that will be
ready for promotion to second class
scout at our next court of honor.
We, as leaders of this great or-}
ganization, feel very proud of gach
and evrey boy and hope w« can
help them to grow to be fin# and
useful men in the chflrches and
community activities where they
live. We are encouraging church
attendance in our program.
